Growth
Growth and rebirth are always contained losses. The bark pieces fall off, allowing the tree to expand. Each line in this natural form is a compromise, a border between one part and another. Some fragments are large, others are smaller. Some are torn off by the wind when they barely hold on, others appear under new layers.
